The Department of Information Technology established in the year 2001 and offers graduation in Information Technology since it's inception in university of Mumbai. In this era of digital world, the IT department offers an excellent atmosphere for students to learn and acquire the necessary skills as per industry requirements.
The department is enriched with experienced faculty members, well equipped laboratories. The Department has established strong links with industrial and academic experts. Besides high quality teaching, various webinars,guest lectures are organized .
Each year enthusiastic students take up several real time projects. Also, the aspiring students are given opportunities through student Internship program. Department students are placed as system developers, architects, technical leaders and managers in many multi-national companies. Above all, the department of Information Technology strives for continuous improvement and setting a good example in the effective use of technology. Department offers students a platform for overall development ensuring a right mix of academics with fun and frolic.
Industrial exposure is an inherent practice department observe and every year industry academic interaction is organised where in experts from industry discuss upcoming trends in IT field. Also support for intership is provided by the department.
