Overview

Bhavan’s junior college Psychology has put lot of efforts in encouraging and motivating students to pursue their career in the diverse field of Psychology and mental health which is a need of an hour. Junior college faculty has provided counselling facility and extended support to many students over the years.

Apart from this, there are various activities conducted for students throughout the year like debate competition, brain storming sessions on different mental health issues, motivational lectures on many relatable topics related to adolescents and their mental health like stress, study habits, social media influence, addiction, suicide, depression, body image, motivation, leadership, self-help strategies, and many more along with group discussions and lectures.

The Psychology department of junior college has given impetus to students to work in diverse career fields. We have eminent alumni working in varieties of human endeavors like teaching, special educators, artists, lawyers, clinical psychologists, cognitive psychologists to name a few.
